Every week, The Toolkit will present a curated selection of STEM and tech-design content, from science-y YouTube videos to programming tutorials and interactive apps. It’s oriented toward multiple age groups, 5-7, 8-12, and 12-15, but it’s cool for everyone — even parents.

The newsletter is written by journalist Caroline Delbert, contributor to Popular Mechanics and many other science and tech publications, with help from our editors and experts.

Each item we highlight comes with an explanation of what it is and why it matters: no faked experiments, lazy stories, or dolphins in Venice canals here. We want to create a guide for STEM education that’s relevant during COVID-19 quarantine, helping parents interact with their kids in these subjects.

For more information about The Toolkit, go to our homepage or read our first newsletter. We are produced by the Connecticut-based STEM nonprofit Robotics & Beyond.
